I like to ramble on about my plants... and other things! My hope is to log the progress of plants and talk about my frustrations with others. So, tune in, turn on, or drop out (if you find it boring!)
Just a quick post... it's a sad day. Farrah Fawcett died today, then this afternoon, Michael Jackson died. Both were significant people from my early adult years. It's so sad... I loved Charlie's Angels and watched it faithfully. And even though Michael was weird, I was kind of a "closet fan." He had such talent, really. It's a sad day in this world...

My passion is growing succulents, which I have done since 1976 when I was in high school and my boyfiend's mother got me interested in them. I married that boyfriend right out of high school after which he went into the USAF, and we traveled about (Mississippi, California and Guam...) We divorced after 8 years and I married my current husband in 1989. We've lived in an old house I love for over 30 years. We have no children, but have always enjoyed the company of our pets. I was self employed - my mother and I owned and operated a full-service party facility. and now I'm (mostly) retired. I drive PT for Enterprise and enjoy the company of my co-workers. Life is good!
